The Pass/Certification criteria is given in the Table below:

Class/Programme Pass Criteria In Individual Subjects CERTIFICATION CRITERIA
Secondary A minimum of 33% marks in the aggregate of Theory & Practical. Theory includes continuous assisment with 20% weightage. Marks of continuous assessment will be shown in the marksheet in separate column. Pass in 5 subjects, including atleast one language.
Senior Secondary A minimum of 33% marks in the aggregate of Theory & Practical. Theory includes continuous assisment with 20% weightage. Marks of continuous assessment will be shown in the marksheet in separate column. Pass in 5 subjects, including atleast one language.

Note:
For the purpose of certification at Senior Secondary level, a gap of two years from the year of passing the Secondary Examination is mandatory.
