The Board of Open Schooling and Skill Education
(BOSSE), Sikkim was founded under Act 14 of 2020 of the Sikkim Legislative
Assembly, passed on September 21, 2020, according to the Sikkim Act 2020 to
promulgate and disseminate open schooling education at the state & national level.

BOSSE took the initiative to educate the divergent group of students
up to pre-degree level including Secondary/Senior Secondary, skill, and vocational
education. The main objective of the Board Of Open Schooling & Skill Education is to accommodate a wide array of learners with access to education for all regardless of their previous academic performance and life circumstances.

Now is the time to unite education partners to foster
growth through meaningful collaboration, innovation, and shared purpose.”
